About College
Jasani Arts and Commerce College was founded by Shree Harsukhbhai Sanghavi on 15th June 1965. This institute of higher learning is non-profit establishment, offering undergraduate courses in the Faculty of Arts and Commerce.
The college was started benefiting the students of Rajkot district in this ever developing city of Saurasthra region, for the students from the weaker sections of the society who had little opportunities to take their higher education.
The major focus of the institute is academic excellence along with the development of good attitudes and values among the students.The college emphasizes on effective teaching-learning process and facilities in enhancing the knowledge and values in students so that they realize their potential capacity. The institution caters to a diverse section of students belonging to different caste creed and religion. A good numbers of students come from the rural area.

Further, we strongly believe that education is the continuous process of adjustment with the environment and so we are always with the mission of attributing the idea into the minds of our students so that they may harbinger the glorious future of our country.
The college campus is situated near Yagnik Road, a central area in the heart of the city of Rajkot. The College provides a liberal, lively and competitive environment enabling students to carve out a niche for themselves in their chosen arenas. Besides the infrastructural facilities, the strength of the College lies in its congenial and enriching atmosphere, which plays a crucial role in maintaining the excellent record the College is renowned for. Generations of students who have been groomed in this College have excelled in different walks of life, with the years spent in the College providing them a solid foundation on which they could craft their success. The College is committed to providing the leadership and direction for the times ahead in every sphere of human enterprise and endeavor.
Affiliation
The college has received permanent affiliation from the University of Saurasthra. The College has also received UGC recognition under 2 (f) and 12 (B) in 13/03/67 & 27/12/91 respectively.

The institution strictly follows the norms established by the state government, commissioners of higher education and Saurasthra University. The admission procedure is offline.
