(I) Examination Cell

(a) External Assessment of students

University End Semester Exam

Final attainment is evaluated on the basis of term and semester examination. Question papers are discussed prior the exam to get the students acquainted with the type and nature of questions. Review of results is done by the faculty to ensure the attainment of prescribed outcome. Level of outcome is classified on the basis of greats scored by the students in various courses. Discussion with the students is carried out to identify the strength and weakness.

(b) Internal Assessment of students

Class test/oral discussions

Class test are conducted for continuous evaluate simplify portion enables students to learn well. Oral discussions also provide opportunities to identify their learning and memory skills and enhance confidence level.

Assignments

Innovative and out of the text assignment enhances the inquisitiveness and enquiry. Assignments are evaluated on the basis of rubrics which differ from different department.

Seminars

It enhances presentation skills and brings forth innovative idea in the relevant areas. ICT Skills are also developed.

Internal Assessment exams

Internal exams are conducted in a semesters in accordance with university exam blue print. Performance is evaluated in details on suggestions are provided. Verified answer sheets are provided to students.

Classroom Participation

Consistency in learning process is analysed through classroom participation. Classroom interaction discussion, debates, quiz inculcate spirit of enquiry and makes easier learning of concepts, current issues and advancements.

Internal viva

Internal and model viva is conducted prior to external viva. Students are guided on how to present projects and answer questions effectively. This identifies the potential of students in presentation of the projects.

(II) Alumni

The Jasani College Alumni plays an active role in the institute. We are always proud of our Alumni associationcollege.

With this alumni association, thousands of our ex-students over the world get a platform to reconnect with our college.
This Association has supported many noble causes of the College. Through our association they could revive the nostalgia of college days.

(III) Placement Cell

The placement cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for under graduate students passing out from the college by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The placement cell operates round the year to facilitate context between companies and graduates. The number of students place through the campus interview is continuously rising. (IV) SC/ST, OBC, Minority Cell

The college follows SC/ST norms laid by the Department of Higher Education of Gujarat Government.The SC/ST Monitoring Cell of the College ensures to address deep-seated discrimination in our social system. Minority cell also guides weaker section students to avail of all permissible scholarships and financial assistance and other facilities and privileges.

(V) Anti Ragging Cell

Ragging is strictly prohibited inside and outside the college campus. College strictly follows the guidelines on ragging issued by the Honourable Supreme Court of India and University Grants Commission (UGC).All the students are day scholars and the entire campus is under the surveillance of CC TV. Regular interaction and counselling sessions are held with the students to make them comfortable in the new environment and to detect any signs of ragging.

(VI) In-house Publications

The college publish in-house magazine called ‘‘Samanvay. It provides college information about –- Student support services, vision and mission, objectives, extra-curricular activities like, Sports, General Knowledge Club, Eco Club etc. Carrier guidance is also provided in this In-house magazine.

Library

The college library has more than 62,000 books on variety of subjects and is a rich reservoir of books for competitive exams. It has a separate section of books on value education, especially a section comprising of a collection on Swami Vivekananda and another on Mahatma Gandhiji. Book Bank facility aids the students to attain higher academic standards. College library subscribes books, newspapers (Guajarati and English), and magazines to update student. s on latest global advancements. Papers of the previous years’ examination are provided to the students from the library and they are encouraged to solve them and discuss with the subject teachers.
